Smashball is a new Half-Life 2 mod that is currently a breath of fresh air when it comes to new mods in the gaming community. It has a focus of rugby with grappling hooks, with a twist of intense speed and game play.  And we really mean intense, this game is ridiculously fast paced, and will push you as a gamer to the max.  This mod is not for the faint of heart and has a rather difficult learning curve in the beginning, we recommend this for gamers who really want a challenge and enjoy team gameplay.

The focus of the game is to score the ball in the opposite teams goal using hook techniques, weapons, and violent charging of the opposing team.  There are different classes like any sport would have but a game that cannot be won by one class alone. This mod invokes players to play on a level they never have before by maxing out reflexes, field awareness and weighing their teamwork skills.
Should you master the skills in this game, you will be apart of a close community of talented players that will bring forth the challenge of competitive gaming you have been yearning for awhile.
